Special Features

Well it wouldn't be my car, if it didn't have a few customized items here and there. Although I haven't spent time and money customizing the appearance, this Element is ultra-gadgetized!

GPS Navigation System: Although our car originally came with a 7-speaker stereo system, I had to pump it up a little. My specially-ordered Pioneer AVIC-N1 offers turn-by-turn GPS directions as well as countless other features. You'll have to see it to believe it.

Xbox
In addition to the front cabin screen, a complete Xbox entertainment system has been installed in the back seat. Rear passengers can play games, watch DVDs and even listen to their own music on the Xbox. The system is powered by a 12v outlet in the very back of the cabin, so front seat occupants can still charge their cell phones or PDAs during longer trips.

Baby Cam
My son Saylor stars in the brand new baby cam! A system I wired up thanks to a hint from my brother Mike and an X-10 camera! -And special thanks to my wife for suggesting it!

No, not really. But I did negotiate the deal for myself and my wife's sister's family. We bought the silver one and they bought a green one.

He Said, She Said!

Since this is our first car together, I thought it might be fun to find out why each of us like the Honda Element... So here goes!

Dan likes it because:

• A car finally worthy of the gadgets I put in it.

• It's the "poor man's Hummer."

• I am finally at the level of a drive-thru window! (Compared to my MR2 Spyder)

Nancy likes it for:

• "The space" (how roomy it is)

• That it is all washable (everything is waterproof)

• "The fact that I don't have to roll out of it!" (Said at 8 months pregnant)
